একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি বাঙালি জাতির চির প্রেরণা ও অবিস্মরণীয় একটি দিন। এটি শুধু বাংলার নয়, এখন এটি সারা বিশ্বের আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে পালিত হচ্ছে।জাতির জীবনে শোকাবহ, গৌরবোজ্জ্বল, অহংকারে মহিমান্বিত চিরভাস্বর এই দিনটি। ১৯৫২ সালের একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি ছিল ঔপনিবেশিক প্রভুত্ব ও শাসন-শোষণের বিরুদ্ধে বাঙালির প্রথম প্রতিরোধ এবং জাতীয় চেতনার প্রথম উন্মেষ।সেদিন মাতৃভাষা বাংলার মর্যাদা রাখতে গিয়ে বুকের তাজা রক্ত ঢেলে দিয়েছিল রফিক, জব্বার, সালাম, বরকত ও সফিউররা। পৃথিবীর ইতিহাসে মাতৃভাষার জন্য বুকের রক্ত ঢেলে দেয়ার প্রথম নজির এটি। সেদিন তাদের রক্তের বিনিময়ে শৃঙ্খলযুক্ত হয়েছিল দুঃখিনী বর্ণমালা ও মায়ের ভাষা। আর এর মাধ্যমে বাঙালি জাতিসত্তা বিকাশের যে সংগ্রামের সূচনা হয়েছিল তা মুক্তিযুদ্ধের গৌরবময় পথ বেয়ে স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশের অভ্যুদয়ের মধ্য দিয়ে চূড়ান্ত পরিণতি লাভ করে।একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি তাই বাঙালির কাছে চির প্রেরণার প্রতীকে পরিণত হয়েছে। একুশের প্রথম প্রহর থেকেই জাতি কৃতজ্ঞ চিত্তে ভাষা শহীদদের স্মরণ করে। হৃদয়ের সবটুকু আবেগ ঢেলে দিয়ে সবার কণ্ঠে বাজে একুশের অমর শোকসঙ্গীত -‘আমার ভাইয়ের রক্তে রাঙানো একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারিআমি কি ভুলিতে পারি ......................।একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি ভাঙালি জাতিসত্তার শেকড়ের অনুপ্রেরণর দিন। এই দিনটি ঐতিহ্যের পরিচয়কে দৃঢ় করেছে। বাংলা ভাষার রাষ্ট্র হিসেবে বাংলাদেশ বিশ্বের দরবারে সম্মানের আসন লাভ করেছে। এ ভাষার কবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর অমর কাব্যগন্থ্য ‘গীতাঞ্জলী’ রচনা করে বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে মূল্যবান নোবেল পুরস্কারে ভূষিত হয়েছেন ১৯১৩ সালে। এ ভাষার অসাধারণ প্রজ্ঞাবান মানুষ জাতির জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান ১৯৭৪ সালে জাতিসংঙ্গের সাধারণ পরিষদে বাংলা ভাষায় বক্তৃতা দিয়ে বাংলাকে নিয়ে গেছেন বিশ্ব পরিমণ্ডলে।১৯৯৯ সালে ইউনেস্কো কর্তৃক বাংলাকে আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবসের স্বীকৃত এবং ২০১০ সালে জাতিসঙ্গের সাধারণ পরিষদ ‘এখন’ থেকে প্রতিবছর একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি আন্তর্জাতিক মার্তৃভাষা দিবস হিসাবে পালিত হবে’ প্রস্তাবটি সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে গৃহীত হয়। আর এভাবেই বাংলা ভাষার বিশ্বায়ন প্রক্রিয়া চলমান।মাতৃভাষার সুরক্ষা, বিকাশ এবং অনুশীলন ছাড়া কোনো জাতি অগ্রসর হতে পারে না, বাঙালি জাতি তো নয়ই। আর এভাবেই বাংলা ভাষা দিনে দিনে হয়ে উঠছে বিশ্বায়নের অন্যতম মাধ্যম।আসাদুজ্জামান । (আমরা মূলনীবাসি)https://t.me/iyemchttps://t.me/MrAsaduzzaman
